- Accuracy and Authority Statement: Include the statement:
“I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”
- Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature.
Once received, our Designated Copyright Agent will review the notice and may take appropriate action, including removal of the content and/or termination of the user’s account if warranted.

Counter Notification (Response to Takedown)
If you believe that your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your Counter Notice must include:
- Identification of Removed Content: Specify the material that was removed or disabled and its original location on the site.
- Statement of Good Faith Belief: Include the statement:
“I hereby state under penalty of perjury that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”
- Your Contact Information: Full name, address, telephone number, and if available, an email address.
- Consent to Jurisdiction: Include the statement:
“I hereby state that I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located or, if my address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which JACE.org.uk may be found, and I will accept service of process from the complaining party who notified us of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person.”
- Signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter notice, we may reinstate the content in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a legal action to restrain the use.

Trademark and Other Intellectual Property Infringement
We also respond to notices of trademark and other IP infringement. If you believe your trademark or other intellectual property is being unlawfully used on our platform, please contact our Designated Copyright Agent with:
- Proof of ownership or rights to the IP
- Details of the unauthorized use
- A statement that the use is not authorized and is unlawful
- A sworn statement confirming the accuracy of your notification
Our Designated Copyright Agent will review the claim and may remove the content or notify the user responsible.
